More than 100 million plastic water bottles are put into circulation every day. Only 20 percent of this is recycled. The rest ends up as litter or in the landfill. Alarming numbers that spur action at XD Design. They designed a reusable water bottle made from sustainable materials. They want to make a statement with it. One that arrived at Magnus Business Gifts.
“Our supplier wants to create more awareness for the problem of using plastic cups,” says business manager Ann Magnus. “We can only encourage that. That is why we included The Bottle in our range. This water bottle is an ideal product for companies to make it clear to their employees that plastic disposable cups for water or coffee are polluting for the environment.”
A message with a nice design
The Bottle is not just a bottle. So there is also a strong message behind (or in). In addition, the water bottle also got a nice design. “There are different types. You have the pliable water bottles, bottles for hot drinks or just with a cooling system, with infusers for fruit or regular water bottles with or without cups. I use The Bottle myself and it’s really handy. There are small bottles of 350 ml and large bottles of 1 liter. They are also available in different colors and can be customised.
Staying dry for a long time
In addition to The Bottle, XD Design also manufactured the Brolly. This umbrella has a handle made from recycled corn. THE BOTTLE VERVANGT PLASTIC PETFLES
Elke dag komen er meer dan 100 miljoen plastic waterflessen in omloop. Slechts 20 procent wordt daarvan gerecycleerd. De rest eindigt als zwerfvuil of op de stortplaats. Alarmerende cijfers die aanzetten tot actie bij XD Design. Zij ontwierpen een herbruikbare waterfles uit duurzame materialen. Daarmee willen ze een statement maken. Een die aankwam bij Magnus Business Gifts.
“Onze leverancier wil meer awareness creëren voor de problematiek rond het gebruik van plastic bekers”, vertelt zaakvoerder Ann Magnus. “Dat kunnen we alleen maar aanmoedigen. Daarom namen we The Bottle op in ons assortiment. Deze waterfles is een ideaal product voor bedrijven om hun medewerkers duidelijk te maken dat plastic wegwerpbekers voor water of koffie vervuilend zijn voor het milieu.”
Een boodschap met een leuk design
The Bottle is niet louter en alleen een fles. Er zit dus ook een sterke boodschap achter (of in). Bovendien kreeg de waterfles ook een leuk design. “Er zijn verschillende types. Je hebt de plooibare waterflessen, flessen voor warme dranken of net met een koelsysteem, met infusers voor fruit of gewone waterflessen met of zonder bekers. Duurzaam droog blijven
Naast The Bottle fabriceerde XD Design ook de Brolly. Deze paraplu heeft een handvat vervaardigd uit gerecycleerd mais. Verkrijgbaar in het blauw, groen, wit en zwart. “Het is een kleine paraplu die personaliseerbaar is met bijvoorbeeld een logo. Bovendien zit dit artikel in een leuk doosje dat ook personaliseerbaar is.
