Frequent visitors to the Magnus Business Gifts website have undoubtedly already noticed it. The home page received a sun yellow button, the gateway to the web shop. “That should make visiting even easier, because all our catalogs are now on it,” says business manager Ann Magnus.
With the click of a button, a world of promotional and business gifts and gadgets opens up. “Our webshop is indeed well stocked. All our catalogs are on it and we are constantly replenishing the shop with our novelties. It does concern all standard products and not articles that are sensitive to a changing market, such as USB sticks. To keep the overview, we added categories. Our visitors can therefore easily search by theme, such as stationery, bags, office supplies or eco-products.”
Instant target price
A huge asset is the transparency in price per item. “Visitors will immediately know what the target price is per item and the total target price per number of desired pieces. You can play with the desired values. All technical and transport costs are included in the prices. Therefore, the prices seem slightly higher than in the catalog. It is also always possible to request an additional quote. Or can you pay online? No, as most of our customers work via a PO number. And not everyone in a company has a credit card. Payment is therefore made via invoice.”

WEBSHOP NOG TOEGANKELIJKER
Frequente bezoekers van de Magnus Business Gifts-website merkten het ongetwijfeld al op. De home-pagina kreeg een zongele button, de toegangspoort naar de webshop. “Dat moet het bezoeken nog gemakkelijker maken, want al onze catalogi staan er tegenwoordig op”, vertelt zaakvoerder Ann Magnus.
Met een klik op de button opent een wereld aan promotie- en relatiegeschenken en gadgets. “Onze webshop is inderdaad goed gevuld. Al onze catalogi staan er op en we vullen de shop voortdurend aan met onze nieuwigheden. Het gaat wel om alle standaardproducten en niet om artikels die gevoelig zijn aan een veranderende markt, zoals usb-sticks. Om het overzicht te bewaren, voegden we categorieën toe. Onze bezoekers kunnen dus gemakkelijk zoeken per thema, zoals op schrijfwaren, tassen, kantoorartikelen of eco-producten.”
Meteen richtprijs
Een enorme troef is de transparantie in prijs per artikel. “Bezoekers weten zo meteen wat de richtprijs is per artikel en de totale richtprijs per aantal gewenste stuks. Je kunt spelen met de gewenste waarden. In de prijzen zijn alle technische en transportkosten inbegrepen. Daarom lijken de prijzen iets hoger dan in de catalogus. Een bijkomende offerte opvragen is ook altijd mogelijk. Of online betalen kan? Nee, aangezien de meeste van onze klanten via een PO-nummer werken. En niet iedereen binnen een bedrijf heeft een kredietkaart. Betalen gebeurt dus via factuur.”
